Richie Watts began his creative experimentations in the spring of 2000 to produce the unique dinner-ware known as The Good Earth Pottery. Success came in the fall of that same year with the pattern Mockingbird, introduced in 2001.
Good Earth originally was based in Starkville, MS, but recently moved their workshop to Louisville, MS. Good Earth has since been acquired by the Moody Family. The Moody's continue the tradition started over 20 years ago, and continue to turn out one of a kind, hand-made pieces.
